An easy way to export subscriber email addresses
Earlier this year, we launched newsletters for publications on Medium: a new way to build relationships and share stories with readers. We recently announced some important updates to newsletters — including an enhanced editor and email scheduling — and continue to improve them based on user feedback. One of the latest improvements is the newsletter mailing list.
Did you know that as an editor of a Medium newsletter, you have direct access to a list of subscribers?
That’s right. Newsletter subscribers who choose to share their email address are added to a mailing list, which editors can export at any time.
Here’s how:
- Visit your newsletter settings and select Export list.
- Agree to the terms, and we’ll email you a link to download the list of subscriber email addresses.
Note, only newsletter subscribers who have opted to share their email address are included in the mailing list.
With an exported mailing list, newsletter editors can keep the loyal following they’ve built on Medium and engage with readers on and off the platform. Creators have full agency over their newsletter audience and the value that they can deliver to readers’ inboxes.
